ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
Our plant is located at the foot of Dolomites, Unesco World Heritage site. We are surrounded by mountains, woods, green, lakes and rivers. Environment is part of our alpine DNA. We take care not to damage what’s around us, whose preservation is of high importance to all, for us and for our children.
E-Pharma is committed to:
- Comply with all applicable laws on environmental protection and fulfil the other compliance requirements of interested parties;
- Spread specific responsibilities at all management levels aimed at monitoring and applying the environmental protection regulations of the law and internal provisions;
- Reduce environmental impacts, adopting advanced technical standards, knowledge and techniques as far as possible;
- Increase over time a proactive culture aimed at achieving safe behaviours and attitudes by personnel in terms of environmental protection;
- Define continuous improvement goals for performance
- Include environmental, social and economic sustainability in corporate investment and growth strategies, which currently represents a real competitive advantage.

Waste Production
We manage all our waste in compliance with current legislation through organisational procedures. For transportation and disposal we use companies authorised to carry out the activity.

Emissions into the atmosphere
We have an Authorisation for emissions into the atmosphere issued by the Director of the Provincial Agency for Environmental Protection. We regularly carry out periodic checks. The concentrations of pollutants comply with the limits imposed by current national and local legislation.

Acoustic impact
We comply with the limits imposed by national and local legislation for noise emissions to the outside.

Use of resources and energy
We use the following resources for our activities: gas, diesel, electricity. Gas and electricity come from renewable sources. The company has appointed the Energy Manager as required by current legislation.

Water Consumption
We manage and monitor the use of the resource and identify improvement actions to reduce consumption (e.g. flow reducers, leak control, etc.).
